The Frozen Angler is a Collectible item found in Episode 2 of the Wintermute story mode and starts the ice fishing portion of the Survival School side mission.

During the course of the mission, Mackenzie finds the book in a chair in Camp Office and is required to craft a fishing tackle and then fish in the nearby Mystery Lake.
