Overview[]

Appearing only as a voice through notes left behind as part of the Tales in Survival Mode, The Foreman is one of 4 major characters that participated in a clandestine experiment in The Far Territory. The results were grand, but fatal to many individuals that partook in the project.

Signal Void[]

The Foreman is not mentioned in any notes in Signal Void.

Buried Echoes[]

The Foreman is introduced as the deuteragonist in the Tale Buried Echoes, being one of two characters whose notes are found throughout the tale (the other being The Security Chief). He was the head foreman of the Langston Mine, overseeing the construction, maintenance, and instillation of the mine's various hallways and passages, as well as overseeing the construction of a new piece of machinery deep inside the nearby mountain, just above the main mine.

By day 38 of the project,

The last note found written by him reveals that something happened when the machine was turned on, as though all the lights in his head went out.

His Tool Belt is found at the end of the Tale, inside the control room to The Machine.

Last Horizon[]

The Foreman is the protagonist of Last Horizon, being one of two characters whose notes are found throughout the tale (the other being Dr. Rüdiger). Throughout the Tale, The Foreman reveals that he was secretly a special agent inserted as a site foreman to keep tabs on Rüdiger, and is now making it his personal mission to track him down to avenge the many miners killed by his hand.

Throughout the Tale, it is revealed the machine had a grievous effect on his mind, as each of his Foreman's Technical notes continue to get worse handwriting each time one is found. The Foreman also begins noticing that he is losing/leaving things behind, and cannot control his actions.
