Stairsteps Lake is a large lake with several stepped waterfalls found near the entrance to the Hushed River Valley.
A deer carcass may be found in a small cove to the north-east. Many waterfalls can be found on the southern end of the lake. Both wolves and deer may be found wandering around on the ice of the frozen lake.
Rosehips may spawn near the southwest and northeast corners of the lake, along with a Hidden Cache near the southwest corner. Another cache may appear a short walk northwest of the lake. Cattails and Old man's beard can also be found in the northeast corner.
While the lake doesn't offer any shelter, there is a cave a short walk to the northeast, which can make for a short-term decent campsite.
