Repairing is a secondary survival skill that is used to repair diverse tools. Higher levels in the repairing skill reduce the amount of time required to repair, and additionally increase the amount of condition restored to an item by repairing.
Equipment[edit | edit source]
Players need Simple tools or Quality tools before they can start repair tools. Those tools are always found in 100% condition and they can be found near tools boxes. You need also some Scrap metal to effectuate the reparation (except for the heavy hammer where Fir firewood is required.
The player is able to repair the following tools to improve their condition:

Tools repair[edit | edit source]
Tools can be repaired with scrap metal. It doesn't matter which kind of tools do you use for the repairing.
Skill levels[edit | edit source]
Players can increase their repairing skill by repairing items above.
There are currently no research books that allow players to increase their repairing skill.
The repairing skill does not unlock any perks, but gives a gradual increasing in the chance of success to repair, and additionally gives a gradual increase to the amount of condition restored to an item by repairing. Simple tools increase the chance of success by 10%, Quality tools by 20%.
