Pacifist is an achievement in The Long Dark.

This achievement is obtained after surviving the first twenty-five days without killing an animal in a single Survival Mode game mode. It is most easily done on Pilgrim.
Capturing or killing an animal with the hunting rifle, survival bow, snare, or fishing tackle will nullify the achievement. Therefore, it is highly recommended that the player seeks sustenance by scavenging meat from deceased animals killed by wolves and ransacking abandoned buildings.
This achievement must be made in the first twenty-five days of the play through. If the player kills an animal within the first twenty-five days of surviving it will nullify the achievement for that entire play through.
Wounding an attacking wolf that flees then dies affects earning this achievement.
