The old fashioned parka is a type of clothing in The Long Dark. Typically, the parka is a rare find, but gives off decent stats all around, though it is heavy and expensive to repair. The parka, however, is for the most part inferior to the Military coat. They share identical weight and warmth statistics, and the former is quicker to repair by 30 minutes, but the latter is 20% more waterproof, offers 3% more protection, and has a 2% lower mobility penalty.
