Dear Steven,
Our blasting plan for the north ridge failed.
The slope gave way and we almost lost Sarah and Luis. It did give us a chance to test the new transceivers they gave us.
They failed. They're junk. Like a lot of things on the Mainland these days.
But you've been out here on these trips. You know.
I'm writing this to send ahead so you can expect us back early. Just waiting for the courier to arrive before this storm rolls in.
