Narrow Bridge crosses the major river flowing through Blackrock just west of the Old Substation, near the southern boundary of the region.
Narrow Bridge used to allow vehicles to cross the river, but appears to have been single lane due to low economic importance of the area on the western side. At some point in time, the center section of the wooden bridge collapsed. Today, only a single plank remains to allow foot traffic to get past the collapsed section, making the Narrow Bridge even more narrow than its name suggests.
Crossing Narrow Bridge can be dangerous. A fall from the bridge into the rushing icy water below is fatal. In Wintermute, Mackenzie initially refuses to even attempt to cross, saying out loud “that doesn’t look safe”. This only changes after he receives a task that requires getting to the other side.
On the western side of the river, the road is blocked by a landslide at Bear's Bend, but a path past the nearby Creek Bed Cave eventually leads to the Power Plant and Forager's Remnant. On the eastern side, the road leads past the nearby Old Substation and Lineworker's Hideout towards Foreman's Clearcut and Blackrock Prison.
