Miserable Haunt is a Warm Cave in Sundered Pass.
Overview[]
The cave is located on the cliffside in the southwestern most section of the lower valley, right next to Seedling Spring. Further south is the crossroads that leads to the transition to Transfer Pass. It is reached by scaling a Rock Climb, and the cave itself is a source of Coal, being a great place to shelter if the weather turns bad without risking heading back to Last Lonely House.
There are two simple tuffet type Beds inside the cave, which is useful if the player is not carrying a Bedroll. Be aware however, as the bed closest to the entrance is located in the cold section of the cave and does not offer a Warmth bonus. When using either bed, ensure the player character interacts with them when standing within the warm part of the cave, to avoid cold damage. There is also a Rim Grill type fireplace by the beds for cooking, plus some possible spawned items.
The cave may have a randomly generated interior, as another wiki contributor found it with only a single tuffet bed in the cold part of the cave instead of two and no rim grill at all.
