Overview[]
Lanterns are stationary objects which can be lit (taking ~1 in-game minute) to provide light to the surrounding area but no additional Warmth. They do not require a starter to ignite or consume fuel to burn, and cannot be looted or moved. Interacting with a lit Lantern grants the option to extinguish it. Lighting lanterns can be useful for navigation, conserving fuel and determining where the survivor has traveled.
Lanterns are found at indoors at:
- Wintermute Episode 4 Fury, Then Silence at the Steam Tunnels in Blackrock.
- Survival Mode inside the Langston Mine in Zone of Contamination.
