Idle Hideout is a location in Sundered Pass.
Overview[]
It is located directly below the destroyed bridge leading to the Weather Station, deep below the treeline in the north eastern most section of the valley. The cave entrance often has a campfire and some supplies outside (possibly a Cooking Skillet), with the cave itself leading to an indoor cave system.
The cave system acts as a shortcut leading out of the lower valley to 3 different areas:
- At the first crossroads, choosing to go left will result in the player eventually reaching a Rope Climb and ending at Prayerful Window, close to the Polaroid Vista overlooking the Old Settlement.
If the player instead goes straight at the first crossroads, they will eventually reach an area with smooth boulders at a T intersection leading to 2 different exits.
- The left path leading up leads to the upper mountain road, up a Rock Climb onto a frozen river leading to the Cascading Gap bridge.
- The right path leading down exits further up the road of Cascading Gap, but below the cliff into the middle section of the valley via a slope.
