Great Bear Highway (also known as Highway 15) is a highway that intersects along the coast line of Great Bear Island.
Overview[]
According to the Town of Milton leaflet, the Highway was created during the mid-1980's, as Great Bear began to further industrialize and expand, thus requiring the creation of the Great Bear Highway. As an unfortunate consequence, the Town of Milton would no longer serve as a gateway into the southern section of the Island, being bypassed entirely by the coastal highway.
In the game, the highway crosses through four regions. From west to east, these are:
- Bleak Inlet
- Coastal Highway
- Crumbling Highway (sometimes called "Old Island Connector")
- Desolation Point
The towns of Perseverance Mills and Port Mary could be linked to the rest of the island by the highway as well, but this is unconfirmed.
