Forester's Revolver is a unique variant of the Revolver in The Long Dark, added by the Tales from the Far Territory expansion.

Overview

The Forester's Revolver is an old double action, six-round chambered revolver. It has a green camouflage paint job and its wooden grip is wrapped with a white cloth.

The Forester's Revolver's unique attribute is that each shot fired degrades the gun 33% less with each shot compared to a normal Revolver. This means that it would take 150 shots to go from 100% to 0%, compared to the 100 shots for a normal revolver (before Revolver Skill level 5). The only potential drawback is that the gun is missing its rear iron sights, which can make aiming a challenge.

The Revolver spawns somewhere within Bleak Inlet, specifically within the mountain area accessible via the Ravine Basin section of The Ravine:

• On the ground below the Pensive Lookout
• On the desk inside the Pensive Lookout
• On the dashboard of the Breyerhouse Truck in the parking lot prior to Echo One Radio Tower
• Buried in the snow with only the handle visible, next to a broken cable reel, at the foot of Echo One Radio Tower
