A Flight Jacket is a type of Clothing in The Long Dark. It is part of the Tales from the Far Territory DLC.
Overview[]
Flight Jackets are rare, mostly located in places related to airplanes like the multiple planes around Field 31 in Forsaken Airfield or the occasional crashed planes in Lower Great Bear. This clothing piece offers an excellent windproof bonus and a good amount of warmth, plus balanced stats overall, making a great choice if you don't have an Expedition Parka or a better clothing piece.
Note that the Flight Jacket spawns on Interloper, and it is the best manufactured torso piece available for Interlopers. A good strategy is using a Flight Jacket on the outer torso layer and a Mackinaw Jacket on the inner layer, exchanging very little warmth for more carry capacity and mobility.
Note: No longer available on Interloper difficulty.

- Inside a crate near the crashed plane in Mountain Town.
- In locked lockers throughout the island.
