Fishing Lure (Acorns) is the unofficial name given to one of 3 different fishing lures sharing the same name of Fishing Lure. It was introduced in the free update portion of the Part 3: Frontier Comforts portion of the Tales from the Far Territory expansion.

Fishing Lures are accessories added to a Fishing Tackle to increase the user's chances to catch fish while Ice Fishing (including some of the more rare fish). Fishing Lures are a step up from the Simple Fishing Lure. Each lure has the same name and item description, but 1 unique item used in their craftsmanship results in a design that mimics a different insect.
If a Fishing Tackle is equipped with a Lure and snaps when fishing, the Lure will be lost and must be crafted again.
