Dehydration Risk is a unique Affliction in The Long Dark only encountered in Wintermute during the missions Fallen Star and Coming Storm in Episode 3: Crossroads Elegy.

Overview[]

Dehydration Risk can affect the Crash Survivors Eric, Gwen, Ada, Logan, and Wade.

  • Eric is found originally in the Community Hall and has Dehydration Risk when diagnosed. He needs 0.50 L of Water (Potable) to cure it as part of the Fallen Star mission.
  • Gwen, Ada, Logan, and Wade can be carried to the Community and will eventually develop Dehydration Risk during your travels.

Treatment[]

Aside from Eric needing 0.50 L of water, Simply giving the necessary amount of potable water to a carried survivor will prevent the Risk from developing into an Affliction.
