Deep Forest is an achievement in The Long Dark.

To get this achievement you have to keep a campfire burning for three days.
Suggested locations to gather enough wood and materials for the achievements are Hibernia Processing and Carter Hydro Dam. Be aware that the fire duration is limited to 12 hours and you have to add more fuel. Be sure to choose an appropriate place for the campfire in order to avoid windblow. While Hibernia and the Dam have plenty of wood, neither has a spot protected from wind from all angles. Hauling the wood to a nearby cave will give you a protected place to keep your fire burning without the wind stealing 10 hours of burn time and extinguishing your fire. Once done don't forget to pick the charcoal and to dance in circle around the fire to celebrate the reached achievement!
