Cascading Gap is a location in Sundered Pass.
Overview[]
It is a bridge on the main mountain road leading north to Placid Notch or south to Lotte's Rest, with a nearby frozen waterfall just under the bridge. The frozen waterfall under the bridge is actually Route One Waterfall, and can be seen from far away even in the valley below, acting as a great landmark for the region.
Entering the river upstream past a large boulder and turning left will take the player down a Rock Climb and into a cave system. A crossroads is found shortly upon descending the cave:
- The right path leads to a crossroads leading to either Prayerful Window to the north east of the bridge or Idle Hideout at the northeastern most section of the lower valley.
- The forward path leads to an exit into the middle section of the valley, slightly to the north just below Cascading Gap.
