Caffeine Pills are a First Aid item in The Long Dark.
Overview[]
Caffeine Pills are used to help eliminate Fatigue, and are only acquired from the Trader.
- Each box contains 5 Pills.
- Each pill gives 5 Calories (25 Calories a pack).
- Once consumed, immediately gives +25 Fatigue and provides Fatigue Reduced for 4 hours.
- With the Straight to the Heart Feat, Fatigue Reduced is instead raised to 5 hours.
- As a consequence, these pills also give a Headache for 3 hours once consumed.
The screen will pulse around the edges as though the player has Pain (the pulsing is 2 times faster, rather than the occasional pulse). There will also be a blue outline around the edges as though the player consumed a Go! Energy Drink.
Each pill weights 0.02 kg, for 0.10kg a pack.
