A Basin is a single metal pan located on a Work Bench in the Quonset Garage in the Coastal Townsite in the Coastal Highway region. Interacting with it will allow a survivor to harvest a variable amount of either Water (Unsafe) or Water (Potable) (0.20-0.70L). Various buildings use the same metal pan model of a Basin, but the Quonset Garage is the only location with an interactable Basin.
Water inside the Basin will slowly go bad as the days in Survival Mode progress. If the water is not claimed, turning the initially clean water into dirty water.
A Basin will not spawn in the Quonset Garage during the Whiteout Challenge.
